One of the harshest regionz in all of Zestria, the Vikraam Tundra is a place of very limited vegetation and of an icy and unforgiving climate. Creating farmland in the tundra is an impossible task so many of the inhabitants lead a nomadic lifestyle, hunting the mammothz and bisonz that can be found on the large expanses of this cold landscape. What the Tundra lacks in ease of survival is mostly made up by its natural beauty, as it is the only region where one can consistently watch beautiful auroras light up the skies.
A regionz of extremely bleak winters and gentle summers, the Kroom Taiga is the coldest regionz where farming is still a viable option. Those that choose to settle down here will have to face long and dark winters in which the only thing that guarantees their survival is how much food they stored during the summer. The few unlucky ones that run out of food before the summer comes around will have to try their luck hunting and expose themselves to the dangerous predators that stalk this regionz.
This mountainous and treeless regionz is considered by many one of the most challenging yet rewarding places to settle down. The Vundt Highland has very little to offer in terms of food, but its great mountains make for a perfect location for those that wish to construct easily defensible fortresses. Moreover, these cold mountains often hold many precious materials deep in their caverns, so anyone interested in exploration would make great use of a mine in the highlands.

A regionz with unyielding steep terrain and a mostly hot climate, the Bracquia Canyons are composed of many massive gorges that seem like gashes made on the mountains. Settlers that decide to make the canyons their home will first have to deal with the extreme topography present here. Many must invent alternative ways to build houses that are adapted to the ravines. One can only be hopeful that the efforts made to settle down here will be repaid, and rightly so, as the rivers that flow between the ravines are rich with sedimentary rocks and precious metals.
Scorched and dried up by the sun, this regionz is reserved to those that favor sandy dunes and rare oases. The Sahadak Desert is the largest desert of all Zestria and also the hottest biome that can be found on the continent. Contrary to what many would have you believe, this fact doesn’t make farming impossible but instead requires careful planning and specific techniques. To those interested in the hot days and cold nights of the desert, be sure to acquire some camels and find a big oasis or else surviving here will prove almost impossible.
Barren dunes and rare spots for food and water usually are attributed to a hot climate, but Gwinland Dunes proves that a territory can be as arid as it is cold. With a mild summer that would be uncommon for deserts and a winter which sometimes results in snowfall, this regionz is strange but valuable. Many rare types of herbs, plants and animals make their home in the cold dunes of Gwinland- at least in places they can find the water necessary to survive. See that you bring heavy pelts if you wish to explore the cold desert.
Hot and dry as a furnace, the Mandoss Crag is a gravelly expanse where few if any plants manage to grow. Surprisingly enough, the few that actually adapted to survive in this rocky desert became resistant and make for excellent crafting and building materials. There are many steep cliffs which make traveling through this regionz very difficult; however, that also means that anyone desiring to attack a settler of Mandoss will have to go above and beyond what is normally required for an invasion.
Between the large pale dunes and a mighty river, the Azurye Sands are a remote paradise where many exotic creatures make their home. Many tropical birds migrate from far away jungles to spend most of their mating season here at the oases which form around the huge river that crosses the entire desert. Moreover, many predators like sharkz and crocodilez swim upstream from the sea to reach deeper into the continent in search of prey. Harvesting from these exotic creatures is often challenging yet profitable to those willing to settle down.
Sharp thorns and withered sands is most of what one can find in the Maradurk Wastes; however, below this harsh and desolate regionz lies a treasure waiting to be uncovered. Many civilizations have tried their luck in the wastes, and by digging up the past, one may find a plethora of riches left by those who perished in the bleak desert. Therein lies the great irony of Maradurk: will the new settlers be the ones who can finally make a stand or will they vanish in the gray sands like those before them?

A regionz of towering pine trees and flourishing fauna, the Swundvand Woods are perfect for any settler that wishes for a life far from the roads and big cities. Although the area has far too many hills to make farming a practical option, many great beasts like moosez and deerz can be hunted for their rich meat. Furthermore, since the woods are dense and hard to traverse, anyone looking to create a hideout would find themselves right at home; that fact alone is enough to attract the attention of bandits and raiders who often have to be fought off by the settlers.
The faint of heart must stay far away from the deep jungle where huge predators and deadly plants make their home– the Vanthera Jungle is an eternal battlefield of life. Survival here is dictated by the cruelest rules of nature, making it so that very few settlers can thrive here for long. The insidious diseases, the covert poisonous plants and aggressive creatures all instill a certain survival instinct that the locals call “Jungle Madness.” Soon the line between friend and foe begins to blur and the wild calls for blood.
One of the more easily farmable and harmonious regionz, the Lyis Woodland is a large forest composed mainly of birch trees but rich in all kinds of plantlife. Many settlers who travel to Lyis come in search of a tranquil life and a chance to build isolated abodes; however, what makes most of them stay is a certain sense of community which many inhabitants of the woodland share. Even the native animals tend to be more peaceful than their counterparts of other regionz.
Mysterious and peaceful, the Xue Jin Forest is the only bamboo woodland large enough to be considered a regionz. Many scholars speculate what confluence of climate, soil and fauna was necessary to make such a rare sight possible, but none reached a viable conclusion. Surviving here is a deceitfully complicated task. Even though the forest is tranquil, it is also hard to traverse, making the use of the long rivers present here almost a requirement, and since the soil is so damp, farming is usually extremely difficult.
Forests naturally attract the attention of lumberjacks and others interested in woodworking, but few regionz have as much to offer in that respect as Vallados Forest. Home to the ancient and gigantic Redwood trees, this evergreen forest is easily accessible and provides its inhabitants with the necessary resources required for exploration. Big predators like bearz and mountain lionz stalk much of this regionz, so those that wish to settle down should be prepared for a little hunting lest they become the prey instead.
The ever humid air and dense vegetation are the hallmarks of Jamana. This regionz is extremely rich in all manners of plant and animal life, but don’t let that fact fool you into believing it’s easy to survive here. With the summer comes the monsoons and flooding. Large patches of forest are suddenly swallowed by the water that comes rolling downhill. This is rarely a problem for the forest itself, but any buildings that stand in the way of the flood are lost forever; those that wish to settle here must be ingenious with their building techniques.

A quiet and forgiving regionz with a mild climate; however, don’t let the apparently gentle nature of Solfar Greens deceive you. This is a regionz of competition and hard work. These grasslands have all the perfect traits for cattle raising: terrain, climate, food, and many others. That results in a big concentration of settlers who all compete to raise the strongest and heartiest bullz and cowz, often even holding festivals or contests to evaluate who has the best animals of the Greens.
The regionz of plentiful harvest and many flowers, the Myleane Meadows have one of the richest soils of all Zestria, which give place to enormous natural flower beds. Myleane is certainly one of prettiest regionz of the continent, and as one of the easiest to travel to and throuhg, herbalists from all around are attracted to the unique flowers that grow in the meadows. Many inhabitants of other regionz come here to spend some time relaxing. The most clever settlers often use the charm of the meadows to their advantage and build taverns or inns to offer the outsiders some comfort for a fair price.
A vast expanse of grass where large herds of horsez roam, the Oriannus Steppe is a regionz of hunters and nomads. Life in the Steppe is a simple one. Since building materials are hard to come by and the soil isn’t ideal for farming, most of the settlers that make home in the steppe learn to use the resources from the animals that inhabit the great plains. The vastness of Oriannus makes it ideal for traversal and roadbuilding, so the natives constantly have to defend from invaders looking for a safe route. The most astute settlers often build toll roads to raise a profit from travelers.
An enormous wetland which is home to many exotic types of fish and other aquatic animals, the Jarladre Marsh is as haunting as it is beautiful. Many settlers come to the marsh in search of rare natural resources but soon discover that the place is regularly blanketed by a thick mist. This, paired with the labyrinthine nature of the wetlands, results in an unusual amount of disappearances. To those interested in Jarladre: Be sure to bring lanterns and settle down on visible spots, or run the risk of being lost to the marsh.
Favored by any who wish to construct towers and fortresses due to its elevation, the Ethos Tablelands are hard to reach. Once one can make their way up to the plateaus, they are safe from harm and can easily traverse the elevated plains. This regionz doesn’t offer much apart from its great geographical positioning except for one thing: volcanic soil. Nearby volcanoes often spill their nutrient rich ash throughout the mesas and actually contribute to making it into a great regionz for farming.
The hottest grassland regionz, the Leonis Savanna is the natural habitat to most of the biggest animals of all the continent: Elephantz, lionz, buffaloz and many others. That fact alone is enough to attract the attention of explorers and expeditioners; however, the savanna holds many other secrets. It is said that the riverbeds of the largest rivers crossing Leonis are rich with diamonds and gold ore, but to extract those resources one must invest a lot of time and effort in a regionz, which by its very nature isn’t the most forgiving.
